Life story

"Ron as he was affectionately known started this life as a motivated individual in his early years he participated in many sports playing Baseball , Basketball, Football and Track. Ron lettered in Tennis and Basketball at Junction City High School. He was active in the Boy Scouts of America earning his Eagle Scout. Ron was also awarded his faith in God award sewing the seeds of living as a life long Christian.
After graduating from Junction City High School Ron continued his studies by being accepted and attending Southern Oregon college, Ashland, Oregon.Graduating with a degree in business administration and Marketing with an emphasis of business law and real estate principles and tax law. After college Ron immediately enlisted in the United States Navy he served as a Navy Sea Bee while in the Navy he was selected to attend the Naval School Construction and Quarry- Blasting School then earning the rank of Chief Petty Officer. Ron served a deployment in Nas Ayana, Quam with his last deployment in Yap Island till 1971 During the Vietnam war. Returning to civilian life Ron started his own successful business. Schneider Land Management that was still in operation until his passing. Ron built his home on a 43 acre Timber farm in Cottage Grove, Oregon
Ron started a ministry business men for Christ. He was a wild land firefighter and a Real Estate Broker. He was an officer in Oregon Small Woodsmen Association. Ron had many titles: Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, College Graduate,Navy Sea bee, Logger, Road Builder, Business Owner operator, Land Surveyor, Wild land Firefighter, Realtor and lastly an American Hero.
Ron was a life long friend to all that knew him. He most of all loved Jesus and wanted everyone to know the lord. He will be greatly missed by his wife Robyn who was at his side with his passing. He cherished his family.
