Life story

"Carleen Catherine Philpot, 66, of Spotsylvania County, sadly left us on August 20, 2024. Preceded in death by her sister, Lois, and brother, Michael. She leaves behind her husband of 36 years, Donn R. Philpot, her children, Christopher, Jennifer, David, and Donn, Jr. , grandchildren Melina, Daniel, Kirabella, Kaden, Aubree, Emmalynn, and Owen, her mother Jane, sister Janey, brothers Buddy, Danny, and Joe. She worked for years as a pharmacy tech until retirement. She was an avid gardener and spent the last few years traveling. She was a fierce protector of family and friends she considered family. We invite contributions to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation at helpfightra.org, in lieu of flowers, honoring Carleen’s legacy. As Carleen loved bringing family together for the holidays, we will announce the details of a celebration of life for her in December. "
