Maria Colon, 90, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt, born in San Germán, Puerto Rico and resident of Monroe, N.C. sadly left our world on August 20th, 2024. She was surrounded by her beloved daughters Bernadette and Kristy. She was loved by many and known for her sense of humor, love of flowers, animals, music, and coffee from Cafe Du Monde.
Maria is survived by her children, Gil, Bernadette, Kristy, Christian, and Ana. She was preceded in death by her children Wanda and Edwin. She leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren."
