"Stevie G played a big part in a lot of people lives. He played a big part in the Howard county community being raised in Ellicott City and graduating from Howard High School class of 1974. He then began his journey as an insulator with Union Local 24. Years later he began his journey in the restaurant business. He started under a blue canopy at a local Exxon gas station selling the most delicious pit beef sandwiches and bbq, he later opened a Fabulous restaurant Smokey and Uncle Grubes where he did catering and did a booming business with the most finest pit sandwiches and we can’t forget the baked beans. As years went by Stevie got sick and was placed in a nursing home where he passed. He has so many people that loved him just because he had a gigantic heart.
