Life story

" Anthony “Tony” Wade Alther, 51, of Rixeyville, VA passed away Thursday, August 1, 2024, at his residence, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born March 27, 1973 in Warren County, VA to Juanita Ann Alther and the late Wade Shelby Alther.
Tony liked to paint and he loved fishing, hunting, and working in the garden. He also did other odd jobs.
In addition, to his mother, Tony is survived by his three children, Caroline Diane Alther, Justin Wade Alther, and Caleb Aiden Jean; brother, Keith Allen Alther; and a host of close cousins, extended family, and friends.
Services will be private.
