" In the year of 1927, on the twenty fifth of March, Albertha bought joy into the union of Prince and Euterpia McQueen. Albertha received her education at Booker T Washington Senior High School. Albertha acknowledged the lord at an early age at Ebenezer Baptist Church. The kingdom of heaven became richer on Thursday, July 4.2024, when God was walking in lovely gardens looking for a beautiful rose, Pausing, He found one ready, Albertha to be taken at that hour.
A Time To Be Born...
A beautiful baby girl, Albertha Strong, was born to Mr. Prince and Mrs. Euterpia on March 25, 1927, at Christian Hospital in Miami, Florida.
A Time to Grow. Albertha was a product of the Miami Dade Public Schools and matriculated in the Class of 1945 from Miami Jackson Senior High School. She was a true General and loved her school.
A Time to Live.
Albertha led a full life on her terms as a world traveler to the countries of Germany, Jamaica, the Bahamas and the Cayman Island. Precious moments spent with Albertha were full of love, laughter, interesting conversations and making special memories. Albertha held unconditional love for her children, family and friends. Albertha spent her latter years in Miami, the place of her beginnings and she lived a full life on her terms until her health began to fail. We are thankful for her nurses and caregivers, who provided excellent care before her God called her home to rest. Albertha leaves to cherish her memory and lament passing, her children Cheryl Delancy, Aaron Strong and Robert Ragin. Her siblings Elizabeth Sands(proceeded her in death) and Leola Tyson(proceeded her in death). She also leaves to cherish her memory Nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and other sorrowing relatives and friend. "
