Life story

" Rosalia was born in Partinico (Sicily), Italy, and immigrated to America in 1949. She completed

her high school education at Sewanhaka High School in Elmont, NY. In 1956, she met her

husband, Jasper, at a department store, and they were married at St. Boniface Catholic Church

in 1957. Together, they raised three children and lived in various locations.

Her memory is a precious blessing, cherished by all. She was loved immeasurably and will be

deeply missed. The loss of a mother and a wife is one of life's greatest sorrows. Even when she

is gone, remember her fondly as she watches over us from heaven, her smile providing eternal

solace.

Rosalia (MOM), your beauty is truly boundless. Now, it is time for you to embrace new horizons

and ascend to greater heights, enveloped in the love of many. This is not a goodbye, but merely

a temporary parting until we meet again. As you close your eyes, let tranquility replace tears,

allowing your soul to find undisturbed rest. Your departure signifies the end of suffering, as we

find solace in the knowledge that you now reside in serenity. Your luminous smile will eternally

provide us comfort and cherished memories.

Rosalia had a passion for both travel and cooking, with her Rice Pudding recipe earning her

recognition in various circles. Described as a beautiful and compassionate individual, she was

adored by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her last moments were tranquil,

embraced by loved ones. Her absence will be profoundly felt by those who cherished her. The

family humbly requests that she be commemorated for the happiness she brought into lives,

rather than dwelling on the sorrow of her departure. In a state of peace, she rejoins her family

in a loving reunion.

Rosalia passed from COPD, her lungs lost their battle. Please donate in her honor to the

American Lung Association, https://action.lung.org

May the Lord our God grant us solace during times of sorrow, and may His peace guide us forward while ensuring that we honor and remember her. "

Services will be private.
