"Cecilia Pickett passed away on Thursday, June 6th 2024 with family and friends by her side at Mountain View Hospital. Cecilia was born October 24th 1959 in Compton, CA to the late Joe and Margot Williams, she was the only child. Cecilia would graduate high school and be the first in her family to get her bachelor’s degree at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She then began her career as an educator of the youth. After doing what she loved, teaching English for 28 years she retired at Western high school in Las Vegas, NV. Cecilia met the love of her life Kenneth Pickett where they married in 2007 and raised their three kids Faith, Kaelem, and Kacey. Cecilia loved reading, spending time with family, laughing and always wearing a smile on her face. She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, and friend, always putting others first.

Cecilia was preceded in death by Parents Joe and Margot Williams; Daughter Kacey Williams.

To cherish her memories are her children: Faith and Kaelem Pickett. Grandchildren: Khai and Dillon Gilbert. Her husband: Kenneth Pickett. And an extended host of many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. "
