Life story
"Eric B. Ford, a cherished husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on June 2,
2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a profound appreciation for family
history. Born on January 22, 1969, Eric lived a life marked by his unwavering dedication
to his loved ones and his passion for preserving their shared heritage.
As a Navy veteran, Eric exemplified courage and service to his country, embodying the
values of honor and duty throughout his life. Beyond his military service, Eric continued
those values through his brotherhood in the Masonic Fraternity. Raised as a 32nd° Master
Mason in Brooklyn Lodge No. 386 Forney, TX on Sept 27th, 2008. Eric continued to
serve in the Masonic family as the Associate Bethel Guardian of Bethel 43 Golden, CO,
International Order of Jobs Daughters in 2017 - 2018.
Eric was a devoted family man, survived by his beloved wife, Rebecca Michelle Ford, his
daughter, Tristan Ford, sister Robin L. (Baker) Mantz, brother Ethan Ford (Michelle
Robson Ford) Niece Mickale, Nephew Chance and a host of cherished friends, notably
the Newell Family, who held a special place in his heart.
Eric's remarkable intellect and sense of humor were evident to all who knew him. He
took great pride in his role as the Ford family historian, meticulously tracing the intricate
branches of both his current family and ancestors back through the annals of time.
Eric's greatest joy came from spending time with his daughter, finding new recipes to
cook, encouraging her to stretch beyond her limitations and bring to life any dream she
could imagine. Eric's love and loyalty for his friends and family knew no bounds. His
presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were
fortunate enough to know him.
In the quiet moments of reflection, let us remember Eric for the warmth of his smile, the
depth of his knowledge, and the love that he so freely shared with those around him.
Though he may no longer be among us, his spirit will continue to guide and inspire us,
reminding us of the importance of cherishing our loved ones and honoring our shared
history.
Rest in peace, Eric B. Ford. Your legacy of love and laughter will endure for generations
to come."
