"It is with profound sadness that I share the passing of my beloved father, Michael Davis, who left us on June 1, 2024 at the age of 69. Michael started his journey of life in January of 1955, born in the small town of Apopka, Fl. He was the youngest of 5 children. He excelled in school and played football and baseball and won many awards. He met the love of his life Karen and the two made a beautiful life. Michael enlisted in the Air Force and fell in love with aircraft. He served as a mechanic and loved every moment of it, often telling us stories of all that he did while serving. He had his first child, Kristi Davis in 1974, followed by his second child Johnson Davis in 1976. His children were everything to him. His granddaughter was born in 1992 and she was the apple of his eye. They traveled as often as possible going to places like New Orleans and Chicago. He went on to complete his Double Masters degree, while working full time. His work ethic was something he passed down to his children, and granddaughter. He began his career in engineering and retired 2 years ago from building ambulances. While retired, he loved cooking, gardening, going to football games, and spending time with his family. He will be missed beyond words, but it brings his family great peace that he is now reunited with his wife Karen. In lieu of a funeral, the family will be holding a private ceremony to celebrate his life. "
