Life story

"Ryan Scott Lancaster, 37, of Reily, OH passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, May 12, 2024. He was born on March 16, 1987 in Oxford, OH to Jon and Cheryl (Garrod) Lancaster Sr. He was a graduate of Talawanda High School in 2005 and was employed by Campbell Services as a commercial flooring installer.

Ryan loved to go fishing in his spare time and he fished many tournaments with the B.F.L. He was also an avid pool player. He had participated in many leagues and tournaments since he was old enough to enter. He enjoyed family time and a good friendly card game on the holidays. Ryan was a member of the Monkey’s Mutual Aid Society and the Eagles #407 both in Hamilton, OH.

Ryan is survived by his daughter Skyla; his parents; a sister, Amy (Don) Haven of Reily, OH; a brother, Jon Lancaster Jr. of Liberty, IN; nieces and nephew, David (Courtnie) Haven of Liberty, IN; Karly (Jansen) Little of Oxford, OH; Kyndal (Hunter) Tinsman of Farmland, IN; Allee Lancaster of Liberty, IN; many aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces and nephews as well as other family and many friends. Ryan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alfred and Edna Garrod; his paternal grandparents, Henry and Merle Lancaster; and an uncle, William (Bill) Lancaster.

A small graveside service for family and friends will be held at the Reily Township Cemetery on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 11:00 a.m."
