Life story

" On May 13, 2024, Wesley Thode, of Fredericksburg, VA passed away peacefully at the age of 72. He was born to the late Dorothy and Wesley Thode in New York, NY. Wesley enjoyed crafting and above all else was a beloved father and grandfather who loved spending time with his children and granddaughters.

Wesley was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 42 years, Anne Marie Thode. He is survived by his son Henry Thode (Monica); his daughter Leslie Dunavant (Chris); his two granddaughters Mariel Thode and Cameron Dunavant; brothers Richard (Becky) and Wayne (Valerie); nephews Jeffery and Eric; and niece Katie.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Spotsylvania Animal Shelter. "
