Life story

" Mr. Charles Edwin Markeith Canady Sr. was laid to rest 4/29/2024. He was dedicated to the Almighty God at 6 months old, his God parents Mr. and Mrs. Bolden accepted the call in 1982, he was Baptized at the tender age of 12 with by Pastor Mendinghall at the Westside Martin Luther King Seventh Day Adventist Church. He rededicated his life to the Lord Jesus Christ at 17 years old and was re-baptized in the Lord Jesus Christs name in 1999.

Mr. Canady graduated from Fresno High School In 2000 with college credits. He went on to become a Certified Brake Technician. He married Tia Loney Marshall in 2007. Fathered two children Charles Edwin Markeith Canady Jr. and Ter'rah Molly Lorraine Canady.

At 15 years old after Mr. Canady had been struck by a Fresno County Van and survived a coma and extensive injuries which left Mr. Canady disabled in 1997.
His Journey is responsible for a proper placement of a bus stop, traffic light and cross walk on Butler Street in Fresno, California.

Mr. Canady co-founded the first Black Student Union in a Jr. High School in the Clovis School District. He was the first Vice President of the Alta Sierra Black Student Body Union.

Mr. Canady had a strong will and strived hard to support his family despite his physical difficulties. He became divorced in 2013. He later relocated to Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he worked for Gerry Lane Cadillac Dealership as a Car Salesman. Charles moved on to become self employed and secured independent contracts with P. F. Chang and Whooters providing Janitorial Services.

Mr. Canady like David seeked God always. He often went for prayer and deliverance from Pastor James Shaffer and participated in praise and worship.
