" Donna Carrie Watkins passed away on May 10, 2024, in Kansas City, Kansas, at the age of 41. She was born on May 25, 1982, in Smithville, Missouri, to Paul Woods and Tari (Woods) Jolin. Donna was a cherished granddaughter, daughter, sister, and mother to her four children - Hope, Preston, Parker, and Hunter Watkins. She was also a loving grandmother to Nina Watkins.

Donna grew up in Holt and St. Joseph, Missouri, with her parents, older sister Kimberly, and younger brother Michael. She graduated from Liberty High School. Donna had a passion for travel, cooking, entertaining friends and family, music, and Sporting Kansas City soccer.

Survivors include her children, Hope, Preston, Parker and Hunter Watkins, granddaughter Nina Watkins, father Paul Woods (Patty), mother Tari (Chris) Jolin, sister Kimberly (Kristopher) Murphy, brother Michael (Melissa) Woods, paternal grandfather Jack Woods, maternal grandmother Janice Dando/Rowe, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, one niece and three nephews.

A Celebration of Life for Donna will be held on May 16, 2024, from 2-6 pm at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church (West Wing), 1600 Rte 291, Liberty, MO 64068. The gathering will be informal, allowing family and friends to share memories of Donna. A potluck dinner will be served, so please bring a covered dish to share in honoring her life. "
