"Jack Romanski died January 30th, flying his Vans RV-6. A long-time Berkeley resident, Jack was born in a Polish refugee camp in Wales to Helena and Maciej. He grew up in Middletown, NJ. Jack was defined by his love for his wife Cathy, and seeking peak experiences flying, skiing, hang-gliding, scuba diving and attending Grateful Dead concerts. Few people attacked life with Jack's intensity, courage, kindness, enthusiasm, and generosity. He is remembered by his friends and family, including his siblings Anna, Mark and Marta.
