Life story

"Karl Christensen passed away surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday January 19th, 2022, at the age of 63. Born to the parents of Thomas Christensen who passed away in 2020 and Janet-Lee Christensen. He was born in Perth Amboy, NJ and grew up in Woodbridge, NJ. After school he attended Lincoln Tech, where he studied HVAC, thereafter, he started his own business Horizon Environmental Design. Karl loved going for walks in the morning, riding his bike, colleting coins and doing photography. He was an active member Senior DeMolay at Americus Chapter, Woodbridge, NJ and the Lions Club in Milltown, NJ. He and his wife loved to travel to Block Island, NY and New Orleans, LA. Karl is survived by his mother Janet-Lee Christensen. His wife of 24 years Shirl Christensen of Milltown, NJ. His son Adam and wife Maggie of San Jose, CA. Daughter Amanda Christensen of Orlando, FL and two others through marriage Toni Ritchie and husband Russell of Browns Mills, NJ and Ron Womelsdorf of Plymouth, PA. Also, his brother Erik Christensen and wife Debra Ann of Myrtle Beach, SC. His sister Debbie Lee (Christensen) Biri and her husband Scott of Helmetta, NJ. Karl leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. The Crabiel Home for Funeral\'s located 170 N. Main street Milltown, NJ 08850. is handling arrangements.
